Production process
XEDA ITALIA production plan at industrial level considers both the DEVELOPMENT and the SCALEUP of fermentation processes of phytopathogen antagonistic microorganisms from the laboratory to the bioreactor. The bacterial and fungal strains used in our formulations are LEGALLY DEPOSITED in internationally recognized Microorganisms collections, which guarantees their conservation and purity. The production processes are accurately STANDARDIZED to ENSURE formulations with CONSTANT characteristics and activities.

Industrial production in bioreactor:
When the liquid starter cultures pass all the laboratory tests, they are used for inoculation of 1500 litre bioreactor where the microorganisms growth takes place and the biomass is obtained. In these phases all the processes are under absolute sterility conditions.
During all the production steps, a rigorous quality control check is applied to obtain commercial formulations with constant characteristics and high quality. Biochemical tests, observation with microscope and morphological analysis are carried out.
